Neurological Disorders

The Offspring team includes a group of scientists with extensive experience from working with research projects in a Pharmaceutical R&D setting, targeting neurodegenerative disorders associated with toxic fibrillary deposits (eg Alzheimers disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, amyloid sclerosis), chronic pain states and Multiple sclerosis. This includes work as Project leaders, Project and Line team members in a major pharmaceutical company, as well as work in their current position serving a multitude of small to large pharmaceutical companies as a CRO provider  

Our angle of expertize emanates partly from our particular skills to plan, execute and interpret histopahology-based analyses designed to target key questions for effective drug development. This includes studies supporting target validation, biomarker development, profiling of drug binding properties, evaluations of effect and side effect risks as well supporting progression of the projects into clinical development (eg development of PET ligands)
